Winter Solstice Ceremony

Please join me in celebration and gratitude for the gift of life we receive every day from our Earth Mother, the elements, the Unseen and the All That Is. We will engage in guided meditation, ritual processes with the central altar and a co-creative despacho ceremony during this potent time of renewal.

Marking the longest night of the year in the northern hemisphere, winter solstice marks the end of the year, in many traditions.  It is thus a time of deep introspection and self-reflection, assisting us in releasing all that no longer serves us so we can open to new beginnings, new revelations and new growth with the return of the sun.
​The despacho is an Andean (South American) sacred offering made of natural and human made ingredients that hold the energy of our prayers and love.  It is wrapped up like a gift and offered to a sacred fire which carries our prayers to the heavens through the smoke of its transformation.
